Shaj
Hey Guys, Searched as much as I could and found no similar problem. Hoping someone can help. Just installed the MSI HD4870 into my system (replacing my old 8600GT). Using Netkas PC_EFI10.5 with the Graphics Enabler Option I get the Black & White Garbage screen. Booting with -x works fine. Shows the right info in System Profiler and starts with my maximum possible resolution. So I decided to add ATY_Init and there was an even weirder problem. The screen booted (after Apple Logo) into Blue and then every 5 seconds or so there with be a sort of flicker and I can see HDD activity. This happens non-stop! Again booting with -x works fine. I tried removing the ATY_motmot.kext file within ATINDRV.kext and that brings me back to the Black&White Garbage screen Any ideas? I'm lost!
