Thanks for your help While installing deselect all other options (printers, languages etc). Just install bare minimum system. Once your Snow Leopard is installed and working fine then install the printer drivers. TaLaCaTTack
i Tried that like right after i made this post. After i install it and add the necessary stuff and reboot it just shows the apple logo no loading circle. When i boot with -v -s it shows all the kexts loading and then it turns into a black screen. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194143-problem-installing-snow-leopard/#findComment-1310835 Share on other sites
geiman
if it only loads the kexts and then goes black even with the -s option, then I'd say you need some other fix installed to make it boot. Could you give us your hardware specs so we can give you more specific help. It's impossible to troubleshoot without it. TaLaCaTTack
I managed to install and kind of boot into sl on safe mode. I used me kexts from iatkos v7 because without it it would kernal panic. When i don't boot in safe it shows a gray screen and i can control my mouse. With safe mode it has a gray background but it has the setup screen. When i finish the setup it loops and says it can't recognize my keyboard and i have to go through the whole setup process again and again. Is their any fix for this. I have a Logitech g15 keyboard if that matters.
