Hi guys, this is my first post in this forum. I've been lurking around a getting some general info on how to make a hackintosh. I was wondering If my current computer would be able to run Snow Leopard. Dual Booting would be awesome also.

Here are my specs:

2.20 ghz AMD Athlon 64 3500+

128 kb primary memory cache

512 kb secondary memory cache

64-bit ready

Board: ASUSTek Computer INC. Amberine M 1.02

200gb Hard Drive

1.18 gb Ram

Video: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 SERIES

DVD/CD: HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4166B, TOFEPK XA7GPMFS9M SCSI CdRom Device

Sound:Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy Video Capture Devices, Realtek AC'97 Audio, Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device

If I am able to run Snow Leopard, can you link me to a tutorial if there is one?

If I am unable to run Snow Leopard, is there anything else I can run? Thank you very much for your time, and wish me luck ;)

spacer.gif uh... it looks more like a no to me at the first glance. Also, ALWAYS ALWAYS DYOR before asking.

What else can you run? Win95 - Win7. Linux distros, you name it

Joke aside, you "may" have a greater chance with 10.5 or 10.4. Ram is a bit lacking even if everything else works.

Video card I am doubtful and you need to find out what ur North Bridge and South Bridge are.

go to http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page to find out more about ur component compatibility
