So by all accounts the Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro is Plug and Play for OS X given the comments on the forum and in the Wiki. That said, I just installed OS X with the JaS 10.4.6 DVD and plugged the unit in and... nothing.

During the install I DID NOT select Creative SoundBlaster USB audio as it's not a Creative USB. Should I have anyway?

Does anybody have this unit working in 10.4.6?

Thanks!

Bouht this one today, just used Pacifist to extract te Sound Blaster USB drivers to default locations, repaired permissions, deleted extensions.kextcache & extensions.mkext, rebooted & now have fully working audio !!!

OldSckoolGamer: I just got the turtle beach audio advantage micro also and am having trouble getting it to work. Could you post a step by step guide to getting this to work? I can't seem to find the USB drivers that you are talking about and also what do you mean by repairing the permissions?

Thanks a lot!!!

Install the SB Live USB driver if you want ANY USB or Firewire-based sound device to work. I've used the Audio Advantage Micro with the SB Live driver enabled and it works fine. It's also oddly enough required for my PreSonus Firebox (Firewire). If you didn't install it at installation time, you can install it after the fact off of the package on the CD.

Thanks for that advice. I installed the SB USB driver from the 10.4.7 DVD and now both my turtle beach audio adv micro AND my bluetooth audio works!!!
