Hello to all,

I am new here and a newbie to mac OS x.

Well today i was trying to install 10.5.1 the good thing is have got installed by following the documentations and stuff available online.

So after the installation when i have rebooted the machine now is the problem that has begun. Before that i would like to show how i have the configuration setup I know its kind of wired but i had it and i would like to get it back with Additional MAC.

So basically i have to HD. One of 250 GB and the other 40 GB which was waste some time ago .

so My intial installation of Windows XP on the 250 gb. Then later i added 40 Gb HD and installed Vista on it.

So I have created a partition using Vista tools of 14 Gb on the 250 GB HD and have installed Mac on it.

But when i boot it. I am not able to get Windows or MAC but getting b0error For which i was searching online for solutions so understood the there is some problem with the bootloader all three OS.

I all the 3 cd,dvd with me. But yet still not able to get it working that a real shame on me.

I have tried by going into vista setup and then to CMD and made disk 2 partition 1 active as that was the one which was getting active rest all were giving error. So made that active and then i have run the commands bootrec/rebuildbcd but no luck.

I have also gone into the boot folder in the dvd of vista and run the command as bootsect.exe/nt52 C: as XP is in C: and also bootsect.exe/nt60 G: But still no luck for me and still getting the error b0error

I would really appreciate if some could help me solve this problem.

Thank you

Try repairing the MBR of the 250Gb disk.

Can you please tell me how to repair.

For your information i have disconnected both the hd one after other and tried to boot but still facing the same error b0 Error

I have deleted the partition where MAC was installed even after that i am getting the error.

Please suggest what can be done.

Thank you

Well thank you. I have resolved it but without MAC. What i did is removed the complete MAC from the HD and installed a fresh installation of vista on it so in that way i was able to get both vista installation working and then i repaired XP. so now both of the OS are working.

Now i was thinking of installing mac on virtual box. Can you please suggest me can this be done or will there be any problem again.

Thank you
