Yesterday I have managed to install successfuly Snow Leopard 10.6 and upgraded to 10.6.1 . And now after connecting the Windows Hard Drive I get this when booting:

I have also tried with Tuxera NTFS and the only thing that I get is this:

Is it possible that the IOATAFamily.kext is somehow corrupted or something? I replaced it with another one because I got kernel panic. Please help!

PS: My Hardware is

MOBO: Asrock Conroe 1333 DVI/H

Processor: Intel DualCore 1.8GHz

RAM: 2 x 2 GB (using only 3200MB because of some restrictions)

Video card: GeForce 7300GT 256MB

Bootable SATA hard drive: Snow Leopard 10.6

and another windows hard drive but on IDE

use your bios to change your hdd to AHCI, Snow leopard will work. if you have a window xp, install driver to make it work with AHCI, or it wont boot. i dont remember the detail, google is your friend.

if you have a window 7, here is tutorial

  1. Exit all Windows-based programs.
  2. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
  3. If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
  4. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesMsahci
  5. In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
  7. On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.
  8. Reboot your computer.

oh, i almost forget, please do these above steps before change your bios.
