I need a low-profile AGP Video Card which works with 1680 x 1050 screen resultion. Is there any low profile video card with this resulution ? TV-Out will be great but not necessary. Keamas Posted June 8, 2006 Author Share Posted June 8, 2006 I found this one in the wiki PowerSpec nVidia GeForce FX5200 5200 AGP 128 MB Works well with macvidia drivers Beta 1 Build 5. Up to 1280x1024x32@85 Hz, no display problems. 1600x1200 works fine at 60Hz, but tearing occurs at higher refresh rates. 1600x1200 is highest res with no tearing (at 60 Hz). Higher resolutions, up to 2560x1600, all work, but all display tearing, regardless of refresh rate. This is using CRT display. This card has VGA and TV out, no DVI out. TV out (SVHS) was not tested. This is a low-profile (low profile) AGP card, fits in machines with smaller AGP slot clearance such as HP Evo D500 SFF. But this guy said it works max. with 1600x1200. Can anyone tell me if it works with 1680 x 1050 ?
