That's why the installation using the guide (first post) for version 10.6 couldn't work. I discovered my mistake while reading wmarsh's post in this thread (#67). Thanks to wmarsh! I followed the instructions in his post and additionally replaced the following files of version 10.6.3 by those from kexts.com: IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector, FakeSMC rev.391, SleepEnabler kext for 10.6.3. The installation worked out. I'm posting this right now from 10.6.3. At the moment I'm missing sound. Does anyone know how to fix it? The next I'm trying out is to install 10.6.4 update. glitzerndeminze Posted September 27, 2010 Share Posted September 27, 2010 Hi, I got the sound running with Slice's VoodooHDA.kext_v271_Snow Version. To update to 10.6.4 I just overwrote SleepEnabler.kext with the one for 10.6.4 (kexts.com) and afterwards I upgraded the system to 10.6.4. Unfortunately the system needs approx. 5 minutes to boot.
