kup Posted October 17, 2009 Share Posted October 17, 2009 I've got a working iATKOS v7 10.5.8 install and from this I've installed the Retail 10.5.6 disc onto a separate HDD. I'm using Chameleon RC2 with PC EFI 10.4.1 and the -useatirom flag for the 2600XT Apple Bios. The exact same setup that boots and runs the iATKOS install fine just reboots the retail install. I've tried all number of combintations of kexts and boot flags but I just can't seem to get it to boot. What are other people using? I really want a vanilla install and the new options with PC EFI make that even easier with the limited options on my GFX (2600XT) but I fear I may be stuck with a premade distro.
