bmxcamel Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 Hey all, Got a retail-dvd installed 10.6.1 setup going here with chameleon rc3... I migrated my old account from leopard in, and Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro both would launch, but display no splash screen, and not open the actual program window. They just freeze, but appear active in the dock. They can be force quit. I tried appzapping and reinstalling them -- when they ask me to enter the product key, I do, and press continue, and the installer beachball/freezes. Anyone run into this or have any suggestions? LukeMotion Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 Most likely from where you migrated them from Leopard, possible incompatibility issues. Try creating a new account and installing either piece of software and see if you experience the same issues. bmxcamel Posted October 16, 2009 Author Share Posted October 16, 2009 I forgot to mention I tried with a new account, and in both cases, either installing and entering product key or launching already installed versions, it CRASHES the app immediately. Right after I enter the product key, either the installer or the actual app will crash.
