Timyang
Hello, sorry if this sounds stupid, here I have the original 10.4.4 OS X and bundled apps disks sitting in front of me, from an iMac purchase. And now I want to try OS X on my old dell laptop, my quesion is, is it easier to find patches to patch the original DVD, or use the already patched images floating around? I would rather not spend that much time downloading if I can make use of the original DVD. But the patches looks quite confusing after a few searches on the forum and google, there is this 10.4.4 restore dvd patcher, is this what I need? what do I need to get started? (just point me to the right direction ) thanks for all the help! bofors
Now that Maxxuss' patching instructions are offline, it might be easier for you just download a pre-patched install.
