Hi guys!

Something weird is happening to my new snow installation.

As a brazilian, our keyboards have different layout from others and for months I've been using a brazilian-abnt2.rsrc on /Library/KeyBoard Layouts without problems on both LEO and SNOW on my old RIG.

This new installation is Vanilla on a GA-EP45-UD3R mobo, done twice to double check the problem, one by using the restore method and other by a boot CD (SL 132Boot).

On both, I copy the rsrc to that folder, see it avaiable for keyboards layouts, but even after seeing it on the upper right corner, its dimmed, I can't use it. Any thoughts? I´ve checked permissions and ownership. It never happened on my old rig. Both keyboard and mouse are USB, no adapters.

The "old" rig isn't Vanilla and is listed on the sig.

The way I do the installations are almost identical, the differences are the kernel (in the non-vanilla) has to be the Modbin, and greater change in vanilla DSDT to recognize the audio. In most other things are equal.

I noticed that the vanilla a message KERNEL is LP64, indicating perhaps that is 64 bits. Not sure.

Any thoughts?
