mg100796
For some reason I can boot just fine in safe mode but when I use cpus=1 -v -f it always stops at mDNSResponder[34]:WARNING: sandbox_init error Could not set Mach lookup policy for service com.apple.bsd.dirhelper err=1100 Could not set Mach lookup policy[.....]ect. all err=1100 . Anyone have any ideas what caused this and how to fix it? I'm running iDeneb v1.3 on my MSI x58 mobo 6GB viper RAM, GTS 250, two SATA HDDs, and an IDE DVD drive. vilpostus
Try booting with mamxmem=2048 flag. Your 6Gb RAM may be the problem. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192207-boot-problem/#findComment-1299819 Share on other sites
mg100796
Try booting with mamxmem=2048 flag. Your 6Gb RAM may be the problem. Thanks, but I have already tried that. After a new installation I'm able to get into OS X in safe mode. I believe whats causing this error is my video card. If anyone knows how to get my video card, GTS 250, to work correctly, then that would be great!
