Hi,

I got a AGP GeForce 6600 128MB and I wanted to get the right drivers for it on the iAtkos v7 system - however, I was not able to get it to work

yet.

The System Profiler says this:

Type: Display

Bus: PCI

VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)

Device ID: 0x00f2

Revision ID: 0x00a2

Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Depth: 32-Bit Color

Core Image: Software

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

I installed the iAtkos standard injector, which results in a black screen on startup, after giving me this twice:

NVEnabler: DEBUG Model found: Unknown nVidia cardNVEnabler: DEBUG VRAM: 128NVEnabler

NVEnabler: DEBUG Setting property 00.compatible

...

NVEnabler::probe fails

display: family specific matching fails

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!

Regards

As usual try inserting an EFI string with OSx86Tools. If no success, try ATI_init or CoreVidia.

Hi,

thanks for the fast help! I did exactly what you said and it seems to work - at least partially. There are two small issues:

First, if I try to set the resolution to some given size, the PC crashes - so the desktop vanishes and that's it - no more reaction.

The second thing is that it only puts out on analog output, but I would like to have DVI. Is there anything that I can change with OSx86 tools without modifying the bootscripts by hand?

Regards

PS: When I add kernel flags too boot.plist, the verbose mode comes up at the resolution entered, but then the GUI again at 1024x768 and crashing if I try to change it.

A paper clip method maybe...
