Ordaz
Alright, I'm having the same problem here.Still wating for root device is a problem when your SATA driver is not loaded. iATKOS may not support your SATA chipset. Try checking up a program on Windows: CPU-Z. Download Here. And once you installed it, Check the Mainboard tab. Tell us your info. You may also want to try another build. iPC 10.5.6 and/or Kalyway 10.5.2 may have a support for your chipset. Can you edit your BIOS? If your system contains IDE hard disk or DVD-RW then you would need to mess with your jumper settings. You're right, I had problems with SATA instaling Windows XP, and I can't change my BIOS (I have tried it before) so I decided to install iPC 10.5.6 wich is now downloading, It might be better because it has more drivers Thank You I'll tell what happen after th Install Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/191855-iatkos-starting-problem/#findComment-1298507 Share on other sites
