What I have: - Notebook: HP Compaq 8510w - Computer Type: ACPI-Multiprocessor-PC (Mobile) - Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional - CPU Type: Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, 2200 MHz (11 x 200) - Motherboard Chipset: Intel Crestline-PM PM965 - Video Adapter: NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M (512 MB) - Audio Adapter: Analog Devices AD1981HD @ Intel 82801HBM ICH8M - IDE Controller: Intel® 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller - Disk Drive: ST9120823AS (120 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II) What I did: - Install iATKOS v7 - choose driver Mouse + Keyboard, other setting by default - reboot without DVD iATKOS - run "NVinstaller v.52.pkg" What doesn't work: - boot takes tooooo long time - when i close the display and open again, pc doesn't respond any more. I have to shut down with power button - hangs on shutdown with a dark display Any suggestions? Then your OS will rock, not flawless, but with some minor issues. Check the forum for: Installer package 10.5.6 And yes, use the search.
