JustinAiken
The ethernet on my motherboard (EX58-UD4P) just died... not just in Mac OS, but in Windows too... guess it's a common problem with my board... So I need a simple, cheap USB->ethernet adapter that works well with snow leopard... Any help? Preferably one that wouldn't take a lot of kext hackery... JustinAiken
How do I make it work? I moved the old realtek kext out of my /s/l/e, rebuilt caches and restarted... If I plug in the apple adapter it is recognized in system profiler>USB as a " Apple USB Ethernet Adapter" But if I go into the network settings, it doesn't show up at all, and I can't access the internet or anything... JustinAiken
Nevermind, forgot that my IONetworkingFamily was a osx86 string... extracted the original from the DVD with Pacifist, now I have internet again!
