OS-Maniac
My Snow Leopard installation cannot boot as it says it cannot find the correct drivers for my platform. My PC specs are in my sig. I am running a kernel from AnV XNU(9.8) found here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=187214 I know thats prob not the right kernel but I have less probs with it than with test7. I have also tried modbin's test7 kernel but I gave me an error which you can see here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1246829 I use these kexts: http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/4346/kexts.png Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/191728-cant-get-it-install-on-my-amd/ Share on other sites

seaghost
Hi, I had different problem with nForce 570 chipset "still waiting for root device" and i copied AppleNforceATA.kext to /Extra/Extenstions/ on Snow partition and everything works fine, except sound ALC883. I have prerry much same configuration as you, except mainboard, mine is MSI K9N Ultra with nForce 570 chipset. kalel83
As I understand it, you cannot/shouldnot use a Leopard kernel with snow. There is also qoopz kernel which you should try. And are all those kexts in /Extra/Extension ? You have different copies of the same type of kext in there. 4 or 5 geforce bundles, 2 libkern.kexts, 2 mach.kexts, a seatbelt kext which I have never seen for snow before, if I am reading this right, maybe make sure all the custom kexts you are using are really necessary? My Snow Leopard installation cannot boot as it says it cannot find the correct drivers for my platform. My PC specs are in my sig.
