Da alcuni giorni sto impazzendo per installare ed avviare correttamente la distro OSx86 iDeneb 1.5.1 10.5.7 sul mio pc. iDeneb sembra installarsi correttamente, utilizzando le configurazioni più adatte al mio hardware suggerite anche da questo stesso forum però al momento dell'avvio sembra inspiegabilmente fermarsi prima di completare l'operazione: il disco lavora, parecchia roba viene caricata, ma si ferma dopo una serie di: "flushing fs disk buffer returned 0x5" visualizzati avviando con i flag -v -f -x. Il sistema sembra collassare all'improvviso: il pc non si riavvia, ma la lettura dal disco si interrompe e cessa ogni attività. non sono neanche certo che "flushing fs disk buffer returned 0x5" c'entri, perché riavviando più volte non sempre si ferma nello stesso punto: a volte si ferma su mDNSresponder etc... :starting, altre volte su un errore riguardante SpotLight(IndexCI etc...) ho dedicato un intero disco sata al sistema, per non avere problemi con le partizioni, ma mi sorge il dubbio che non sto utilizzando correttamente il setting per un disco sata. Devo forse utilizzare un driver apposito ma che non riesco a trovare? Il dubbio mi sorge perché subito dopo l'installazione, verificando l'HDD dal DVD di installazione, vi sono degli errori che riesco a riparare mediante S.O.S. ma non risolvono il problema. Qualcuno ha avuto modo di installare su un sistema simile al mio? Potete consigiarmi una configurazione adatta al mio hardware? vilpostus Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 I'd suggest you to begin with installing Kalyway 10.5.1. It's very simple to install disk. No options needed to select, except for the EFI boot, maybe. So try it. You can upgrade it to 10.5.8 later. Just remember, DON NOT SELECT ANY DRIVERS FROM UPON THE INSTALL. Install them on working system. As for the newer disks e.g. iAtkos v7. Method is, in general, the same. Select as less patches/drivers as possible. Your system is relatively old simple, so no need for many different fixes. Just the basic stuff like Disabler, Chipset driver for ICHx and a chameleon maybe.
