Specs Amd Athlon64 3000+ (Clocked @ 2.2ghz) Asus A8VE-Deluxe(Nw) Motherboard Onboard AC97 7.1 sound Onboard Marvel Yukon Gigabit Lan Cruddy 5200rpm Maxtor 10gb Test drive 512mb Generic ram Asus EAX700Pro (Ati x700 - PciEX) Usb Mouse/Keyboard Method: Downloaded tiger-x86.tar.bz Extract to D:\ Downloaded DD Run dd with command dd if=D:\tiger-x86-flat.img of=\.\\PhysicalDrive1 bs=106578 Put the kettle on. Make some noodles. When DD Finishes. Download Maxxus-SSE3-SSE2-EmulationPatch0.4.iso Move to Accessible Drive (Ie D:\) Restart In the bios i change boot priority to HDD1 (10gb) Save and exit Boot into MacOS-X It boots, nice, now to get itunes working... On desktop there were 3HDD's my 10gb and the 2 windows partitions (Untitled1/2) Open U...2 locate Maxxuss iso, and dbl clicked. open terminal cd / cd Volumes ls i found the maxxuss Volume cd MAXXUSS sudo ./Install.sh ran the installer and installed everything, I,Y,Y,Y then rebooted Voila it worked. Itunes, but only sound through the left channel Not Working: Quartz not supported, and GFX shows as Vesa3 compliant. Network "Works" as in it has detected that its there, but i can't access the internet GBlan->CableModem - In windows its usually DHCP Assigned and i get an ip of 81.x.x.x but in MacOS i get an IP of 169.27.x.x Also - Booting with Platform=os86pc stops my USB Mouse/KB from working, will get round to enabling USB1.1 to test later I hope my success and failures can help other people. I really am impressed with the effort that has gone into this, and the "brilliant" minds that are at work. Keep it up lads n ladies PS... I never thought i'd see the pretty face of OS-X running on my sexeh AMD. Don't worry for my bad english... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You do not need to use VmWare. use DD and type that command in, it will export it to the drive you stated and you can then start your pc with that drive.
