Hi everyone!

this is my system:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (SSE3 Support)

MSI MS-7349 Motherboard

Chipset - NVIDIA nForce 560

1GB DDR2 Geil

Geforce 7050 PV/Nvidia nForce 630a

WD 160GB sata2 HD (I have WinXP installed on it)

+WD 80GB sata2 HD (I want to install Mac on it)

OK i've been trying to install mac on pc for awhile now with no success. I tried iAtkos v.7, iDeneb, Leo4all and kalyway and I got that stupid "still waiting for root device" message in all of them.

I tried to change my BIOS setting accorrding to a guide that I found here but I don't have the CPU Feature menu in my BIOS so I gave up on that. I also tried to boot with F8 and write -v rd=disk1s1 to let my computer know which HD it needs to use but that didn't work either.

Note: my 80gb HD which I want mac to be installed on is formatted to NTFS.

Anyone?! PLEASE!

To install OS X on a disk, it must be ether with no partitions at all e.g. blanc, or contain a FAT partition. OS X can only format FAT and some other partitions, but not the NTFS. So erase/partition the disk with GPartedLiveCD. Think about creating two partitions - one for Windows and one for OS X. Sure, if it's an OS X dedicated drive, then only one FAT partition is needed.

You have a nForce chipset. So need an appropriate driver for that chipset. Not all the install disks do provide the particular driver. So find a distro that is known to have it.

ok i tried everything and I still get that message. what should i do?

So find one that is named like "AMD only" or something. There are some AMD only versions.
