Hey everyone. All information about the machine will be at the bottom . Firstly, thanks in advance for the help.

Secondly.. to start, i get the error below NO matter what install i use.. i honestly have a wide range of install dvds. iatkos, idenb ,kalyway etc etc.. but i get the same error no matter what.. the only one that DID load was iPC 10.5.6.. which i do not have anymore and not sure if i am capable of downloading!! (GRRRR) anyway... any ideas? i will work on trying to get a list of all my bios settings.. I have heard some people say you have to install threw an ide drive..? I currently have 2x sata drives.. i have tried with raid on and off (let me note , that when i turn it on in my settings you can enable which sata ports to enable.. but when i do so, i get slightly confused how to set it up with the raid setup.. if you have a tut or something, lmk). But yes, ANY help would be great.

Thanks for the fast reply. I am not sure how to do that. What do you mean by that? i read a lot of places that sata dvd drives do not work too well and that is what is giving the error.. I in the process of trying to figure out how to make a bootable usb osx installation.... FROM windows.

could you elaborate on the configuring sata as ahci

There should be a setting in the PC BIOS that you can change.

Boot the machine and hit DEL or F2 or ESC, whatever key will get you into the BIOS settings.

Look around for SATA settings and see if it is possible to change SATA to use AHCI as DasHuman suggests.

so its weird.. I can boot into freeking 10.4.10 :).. mac.nub disk grr! BUT NOT ANY leopard disks. its rediculous. as far as changing the sata to use ahci i am not sure where that setting is.. i do not have raid enabled right now so i thought it should use ahci right?

Not necessary. Windows, for example doesn't use ACHI mode by default. So the default settings for ACHI most likely be "off" rather then "on" or "RAID". I'd suggest you studying the MB's manual. On that subject. Though I DO NOT guaranty that ACHI option is present in the BIOS.

About the Tiger... Tiger do have other chipset drivers on the disk.

You need to use MeDevil's AppleNforceATA_Test kext and set your BIOS as per the 750i BIOS settings template in my Series 7 nForce chipset guide.........also see my iPC 10.5.6 install guide in my blog.......initially install without video, network and audio drivers......get the basic system running first....... :)

Hey sir. thank you for the response :( how would i go abouts "Using" the applenforceata_test kext? thanks!

Use Kext Helper b7 to install into Leopard /System/Library/Extensions/......

any other ideas?

For what.....?

You say use kext helper to add the kext .... BUT i can not even boot the install dvd yet let alone install. Still stuck.

You need to use iPC 10.5.6 Final v1.1 because you have a SATA DVDRW and need to have the AppleNForceATA_Test kext cached in the iPC boot Extensions.mkext........see my blog install guide for iPC 10.5.6.....
