Help installing Snow Leopard On my notebook :\ HELP!

Hello Everyone! I am new I registered because i need help :\ I have wasted many DVD-dl on faulty OSX's that were suppose to install Snow leopard on my Notebook... The original file i have is a "Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard [untouched Full Retail DVD]" and its a .dmg file... I want a step by step EASIEST possible way to burn and install Snow leopard on my notebook... The Size of the Snow leopard that i have is about 7.5 gb...

 

Help please! I need a tutorial that is very easy and clear to understand... I don't have another mac all i have are PCs'.. I dont want to waste anymore DVD's I tried many tutorials...but they dont seem to be updated or for Snow Leopard...

2. Open Disk Utility.

3. From the drive list on the left, select the DMG image (Mac OS X Install DVD).

4. Click "Burn" to burn on your dual layer DVD.

5. When the disc is burnt, restart your computer and hold 'c' to boot from the DVD.

6. Follow the instructions to install Snow Leopard."

 

 

 

 

 

Yeah i dont know where this "Disk utility" is at... sounds like its from a mac.. I want to be able to prepair and run it from the same computer :\
