I'm trying to install to a Dell Latitude D620 I have. 3 gigs of RAM, 320 GB HD, 1.83 ghz Core 2 Duo.

In the install process, the touchpad (Synaptics) and the keyboard work just fine. It installs and then when I boot up into OS X it doesn't see a keyboard or the touchpad. I've tried a few suggestions I've seen elsewhere from Googling, but nothing seems to have worked.

Any suggestions? Although I am quite technical in other things, when it comes to OS X on a PC, I am nothing more than a n00b.

The help is appreciated.

Makes sense. Basically the same machine, with more features on the D820.

I've seen a few things written where the author says "I had to do XXX and YYY" but no explanation for someone like me who has no idea what they are referring to.

I'm not sure how to use that info, since I have no keyboard function to edit anything.

I am getting the feeling I should simply reinstall Windows on the D620. Thanks for the effort to help; perhaps someone else will see this who understands a bit more what those posts are saying and be able to get there. For me, I didn't grok much at all. :)
