I use busratio=20 and then it booted fine. after some modifications with osx86tool (adding busratio=20 to kernel flags and performing all the maintanance ticks it started to freeze on BSD root: errors major 14, minor 3 (4,5,6) found on forums solution run with update -v, tried worked fine when I reboot and try without update -v - freezes at same BSD root: errors major 14, minor 3 (4,5,6) most recent thing I found out that works is adding -v -f when I manually enter at booting - works If I add as a kernel flag -does not, freezes at BSD root: errors major 14, minor 3 (4,5,6) I am using Gigabyte P55-UD2, i5 750 with gigabyte GT9600, running iAtkos v7 kernel voodoo 9.7 with chameleon 2 bootloader Trinity, HELP! vilpostus
Try repair disk permissions via the Disk utility as a matter of precaution. Now about adding kernel flags. You have a Chameleon installed. So add the flags to com.apple.Boot.plist located in the /Extra folder, not the one located it the system. Also don't forget to fix permissions for the edited file. I don't use a DSDT, so not an expert on the subject, but maybe it is worth trying in your case?
