Hey everyone. Anyway I really wanted to get OSX on one of my PC's, so I tried on both of them and failed on both..

I am using iPC 10.5.6 Universale (with voodoo kernel)

So on my first, main PC I get kernel panic when I try to boot the disk. I can't even install OSX

The specs for the PC are : AMD Phenom II x3 720 , 4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, MSI GD70 motherboard.

The second PC is a laptop, an HP Pavilion DV2622ca. It has a 1.9GHz AMD Turion and 2GB of RAM in it. When I boot with -v, it gets to the part were it tells me something about "FireWire activated, spread across" or something along those lines. After that it tells me the infamous "still waiting for root device"

Ideas?

On one of my PCs when I type busratio=20 , i actually dont get kernel panic, but when loading that apple gets a circle with a line on it on the apple. What does this mean?

Testing the laptop out now

When i type busratio=20 it doesnt give me a kernel panic (thank god) but instead when the apple logo shows up it gives me a crossed out circle on top of the apple after a while.

Same thing on the laptop

Always use -v boot flag then installing. By doing so, you will be able to see where exactly the system has stopped loading. Do it in both cases.... A-a-a-a-a-a!!! :):gun:

Ans as I said earlier "You could take a picture of both systems KPs and post them. Just in case...."
