If trying with iPC, I'd recommend selecting this options:

Sleep, StageXNU, Voodoo from Kernels (boot with -v voodoo or -v stageXNU flags)

No VGA drivers (set up them later)

AppleNForceATA nForce drivers from chipset drivers

Broadcom drivers from Wireless Drivers

ACPI fix, Seatbelt.kext, from fixes and patches

Remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kex from Alternate desablers

PS/2 Device support

AppleSMBIOS 28

EFIStudio, OSx86Tools, Pacifist, Perian, MKext tool, NTFS-3G from applications

Also may need cpus=1 busratio=20 flags upon the boot. You will surely need to use the voodoo kernel. So boot with -v voodoo flags. Note that you don't need that flag if voodoo is the default kernel.
