I installed iAtkos with the 9.7.0 voodoo kernel and when i try to start a machine in vmware fusion or parallels i get i kernel panic and have to restart. I have tried virtual box but it freezez up after 10 minutes of installing, also when trying to use marvins amd utility but it freezez everything except the mouse and i have to restart. Help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

Make sure the kernel on the hard drive is called mach_kernel. Documented in the voodoo kernel notes and web site.

also just to confirm mach_kernel is located in the root directory of the hard drive os x is installed on and is normally hidden right.

Yes that is correct. So do you have AMD-V extensions in CPI and enabled in BIOS?

I'm not sure what CPI is but i believe it is on in the bios ill try turning it off

 

EDIT: There is no option for AMD-v in my bios i know my cpu supports it but i can't turn it on or off from my bioss

 

EDIT2: I found a solution i just switched to i different kernel but thanks for your suggestions Donk
