D0nR0sa Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Hi, I am really confused about my problem, because I got 6 or 7 different errors during booting the install disc till now. I tried to boot iPC 10.5.6 Universal Final and Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel AMD SSE 3. I tried to boot the DVDs with and without a Chameleon boot DVD. The boot progress stops always after about one second at sometimes different lines. If I boot from the Chameleon boot DVD I can boot in verbose mode and the booting aborts one second after the background changed to black. That means I get 5 to 7 lines further than without chameleon. I am running a Dell XPS Studio 16 Laptop with a Intel P8600 2,4GHz Core 2 Duo 4GB Ram and a ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 1GB Video RAM I have really no idea why I get this different errors, but maybe someone knows a reason why this happens. D0nR0sa Posted October 1, 2009 Author Share Posted October 1, 2009 Hi, thanks for your answer, but when I tried to get the error lines for posting here, suddenly Kalyway 10.5.2 worked. I changed nothing, but it works. I get a Firewire GUID 0000000000000000000 is invalid error, but its booting. Thanks for your answer, oh and the error before was something like USBF .... checksleepcapability, but I dont know for 100%. Sometimes I got an error with a synaptic touchpad but I tried to figure this out this time.
