alvin777
Hi. I'm using the Adam Posh method but when I get to the gray screen with the Apple Logo, the progress wheel just stops. On verbose mode it looks like this: Screenshot photo I have the GA-965P-DS3 revision 1.0 | 4870 1GB (Palit Brand with one of each: DVI, HDMI, VGA, miniPort) I've tried installing the Chameleon 2 RC3 as the bootloader for the flash driver which is the Snow Leopard installer but when I use the terminal to manually install RC3, it doesn't push through and instead it says "Resource Busy" (I tried this on Safe Mode too). What's the fix for this? If someone has installed Snow Leopard on this exact, same board and exact same video card please also comment on how to make the audio and GPU work if I will have problems with it should I get to install Snow (and on deep sleep as well if I will have trouble with that too). Thank you in advance. Gbu Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189416-installation-halting-adam-posh-method-screenshot-inside/ Share on other sites
clipper99
Man, you couldn't get any farther away from the "Adam Posh Method" could you? Completely different mobo AND video card right out of the gate! We are talking about the Lifehacker method right? Cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189416-installation-halting-adam-posh-method-screenshot-inside/#findComment-1283725 Share on other sites
alvin777
Hi. Yeah. I think if I could just replace the bootloader of Adam Posh's method to Chameleon RC3, that should do it. The problem is when I try to install Chameleon RC3 manually using Terminal to the flash drive, it says the resource is busy. Does anyone know how to not make the resource busy? Can anyone point me to another method of installation that will work for this mobo? Thank again in advance.
