I used to do this with CCC in Tiger days; but how to do with OSX86 (iPC). Cloning the systems seems to be O.K., but how can I boot from that media after reboot? I cannot select that media in OSX to boot from. Or is there any key-command to press while rebooting?

External USB-HDD is formatted with HFS+ (MBR partition table I think).

Do I have to install Chameleon?

how do you boot at the moment? if you have a running hackintosh this has a bootloader wich should be able to boot your clone. for booting whatever you want i would always recommend a usb stick (simply buy the cheapest usb2.0 one you can get) with chameleon or boot think on it.

GRUB+Darwin-Bootloader --> see also my posting regarding to chameleon/Boot Think: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1283104

OSX86 boots fine. But isn't there any key-command after reboot/GRUB to hold down? In tiger/OS 9 there was the ability to select a system volume to boot from?

Hmmm, and why not replacing GRUB and/or DARWIN-Bootloader with Cameleon or Boot Think? Which one do you prefer?
