mcLaren
Hi, I am using iDeneb 1.4 on an AMD Mobo and after some try and error I got it to work. (With Voodoo Kernel, the others don't work for me) 1) using an ATI Radeon X1800 without driver starts into a low resolution mode. No driver in iDeneb included. So I tried to install Natit.kext and got a nice screen. But in the moment I move something with my mouse I got Kernel Panic. 2) I bought a BFG Geforce 9400GT and tried different drivers, absolutely no success with that one. Read about NVenabler.kext but could not find the file for download. (projectosx) and if I find a link, it is almost always broken The Radeon card is very noise and I don't mind to replace it. The Geforce 9400GT goes back to the store. At his point I am a bit frustrated and would need some advise what card to buy (Geforce 7300GT or 120 GT?) or how to install the ATI X1800 card. Please let me know about clear instructions, I am working all the time with mac but this is the first time I am installing it on a PC (AMD) and I am not sure what else I need to do besides installing a kext file and clearing the cache. Thanks a lot!! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188974-video-card-problems-installation-buying-guide/ Share on other sites
