hawkmultimedia Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Hi all, this is my first hackintosh attempt using iAtkos v7. It went as usual, reinstalling twice because of the black screen. It never would wake up, until I realized it was the mouse and keyboard on the laptop that was not being recognized. Once I hooked up USB ones, I was able to get just about everything running... except for the onboard mouse and keyboard. They don't even show up in the System Profiler, only the USB ones do. I've tried installing the Apple PS2 kexts, but they don't appear under Software > Extensions. I've tried Trackpad.prefPane, but get a no such file or directory on the second command (even though it's right there in the desktop path). WTH am I doing wrong? If I could just get those two working, I'd be happy farting around with the rest without having to drag a mouse and keyboard around! vilpostus Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Try voodooPS2Controller. Remove any PS2 related driver beforehand. Install using OSx86Tools or Kexthelper for the permissions to be appropriate.
