kdetech Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I have a hard disk partitioned with Windows Ubuntu and Leo. I installed win 7 in a partition that had vista. Then re put OS X. Now when I boot the pc I just see a black screen no darwin. When vista was there the same method with kalyway worked. Now with win 7 I get this problem. srs5694 Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 The Windows 7 installer wiped out your MBR's boot loader. DOS and Windows have been doing this for decades. You'll need to re-install your boot loader, or install a new one in its place. Consult your boot loader documentation for details, or download a new one (Chameleon, PC-EFI, Boot Think, etc.). There are lots of current threads on this topic, but I don't have URL's handy; just scan the recent installation, post-installation, and multi-booting forum for relevant threads.
