Brewers
Hey, anyone got a SL install running on a board with 9400m chipset? I'm really thinking of ditching my current board and graphics card for one of these, mainly because of power consumption. I did not find such a board in the wiki HCL. Ben Pool
I have a DFI JR-GF9400 T2RS running Leopard beautifully at the moment. Thinking about upgrading to 10.6 eventually, but have not seen any other people do it yet, so I thought I would hold off for now. The route I am thinking about going is an external drive install off my macbook (GF9400 unibody jobbie) and then installing whatever kexts I need before putting it in my HTPC box. If anyone has any better suggestions I would love to hear them! Brewers
Sounds like a good idea. If I go this route, I could install off an Macbook Pro to an external drive and then put it in the hack. Please let me know about your success!
