What would be your recommendation for 10.5.7 ? which team dvd to use ? vilpostus Posted September 22, 2009 Share Posted September 22, 2009 AppleSMBIOS Memory speed from Fix>AppleSMBIOS Voodoo, Speedstep, AnV, vanilla from kernels (in case the default kernel won't boot use -v kernel_name flag e.g. voodoo -v or speedstep -v) VoodooHDA from Drivers>Audio ICHx fixed from Drivers>Chipset (needed for ICH9 controller; if you get "still waiting for root device" after installing on boot, install this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88335 ; chose the right version e.g. 10.5.7) Don't install any VGA or Network drivers (actually there are non suitable). Install them upon the successful install and boot. Also may need a PS/2 driver (VoodooPS2Controller) if the keyboard is not detected upon the boot. Or use an USB mouse&keyboard. May also need maxmem=1991 cpus=1 flags on boot (if any problem with boot).
