HP Desktop DC7100 Ideneb 10.5.8

Hi,

 

today I installed on a old HP desktop Ideneb 10.5.8 distro.

 

Graphic needs one patch, Lan works with Apple BCM 5751

 

TM, sleep, onboard graphic fully working.

 

Sound ? working, but can't open sound pref pane anymore after installation of ALCApple.kext, but works with AppleALC.kext. I don't know about mic.

 

My question is, how to open again the sound pref pane to see whats going on.

 

Has some one a working kext for 10.5.8. As far I know the onboard sound is AD1981, but I am not 100% sure.

Ok, I found what causes not be able to open sound prepane.

 

After I changed the language to German, can't open the sound prepane.

 

When I change the language back to English, the sound prepane opens and I can do all adjustments.

 

Very strange behavior.

Next week i bring a HP Desktop DC7100 can you explain me the setting that have you used on ideneb 1.6 ?
