John the Geek
I got handed a 6GB iPod Mini with a failed drive today so I dissected it and took pictures. I'm in awe at just how small it really is!! That's 6GB! It's not much larger than my thumb! I never really thought a microdrive was really a drive, but it is. kernalzero
wonder what a replacement would cost and if you could go up in size? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18729-ipod-hard-drives/#findComment-122576 Share on other sites
Ouch
Would the drive physically fit in an expresscard/34 slot? Would make a nice backup solution to have a little removale microdrive in there. With USB jump drives so cheap it's not really worth it though.
