Pazy
Hi all, ok i turning my acer aspire one into a hackintosh this is my first attempt at a hackintosh, I originally set out to use iDeneb v1.4 but i got the you need to restart your computer error so i scraped that, I then managed to install leopard using kalyway with the vanilla 9.3 kernal i used this guide http://www.venera7.com/22-11-2008/installi...e-macbook-nano/ All was going well as i updated the kernels to try and get most recent, i used combo update 10.5.4 to upgrade but this stopped my keyboard and track pad from working on my laptop so is there a fix for this? I have upgraded the kernal again using update so i am running 10.5.5 using a usb mouse with virtual keyboard. Also every time i boot up laptop it goes into restart loop unless i type 'update -v' is there a soution for this? My final problem is that i have no sound so following my guide i began to get try get it to work i ran pauls update thing and restarted but now my usb sticks don't work which i dont understand as my usb mouse still works. If anyone has any help that would be great or if i should install another distro i am downloading iPC and iAthoks as i write this. Probably need a PS2 driver. e.g. VoodooPS2Controller Also every time i boot up laptop it goes into restart loop unless i type 'update -v' is there a soution for this? A workaround would be to add the "update -v" to com.apple.Boot.plist kernel flags section. So there would be no need to type it every time. If the stick is detected when inserted on boot, then it is a kernel and System.kext mismatch problem. Install an appropriate (the same version) System.kext Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186953-need-help-by-people-who-know-what-there-doing/#findComment-1268593 Share on other sites
