Please help me with usb audio device..

For some reason I cant get the usb to work.

 

Im running a P4, but it is on a via 478 socket chipset. I dont know the specifics. But its built in audio/video,etc. Its a micro atx board of some manufacture.

 

I need to know some things (specific) I can do..commands, etc. to try to get this to work.

 

I also cant see anything else on my usb.

 

 

Now----- Im used to XP...were it would show, even if it didnt have drivers or xp didnt know what it was..it wuld still tell me SOMETHING is connected..is mac at least this smart?

 

I really woud like to ge this to work as Most Pro-producers I know, I know a couple who write for that aguilera chick, use logic on mac, and Im not ready to sell my pc's to buy a mac.

 

Unless some one wants to tradepcs for a mac.

 

Oh, sorry, fyi...

 

Im runnig the JAS 10.4.6 Should I go for another 4.6 or should I try to dl an older one...like 4.3 or something.

 

Please help as I can get you pounds of crack and some nice EXPENSIVE ho's =)
