megavolkan
This is my third Snow Leo installation, i have no problem connecting to internet, no problem with network but anytime i launch Software Update it waits about 15 seconds then gives the following error: Software Update can't check for updates because of a network problem. Software Update can’t connect to the update server. Make sure you’re connected to the Internet, and then try again. Any ideas? This is not a hackintosh problem, in fact it is a common Snow Leopard problem. Solution is: 1- Go to System Settings / Network 2- From Locations create a new location and make the settings for that new location. 3- Voila! Problem (should be) solved. Go to Software Update and give it a shot! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186667-solved-software-update-not-working/ Share on other sites
