i modified my mb bios and install iatkos 10.5.7. try it anybody, but flash without bootblock it's safety.

I have also the same MB. Could you please explain how you installed iAtkos v7 10.5.7. with this Asrock MB? I can boot up for the installation, I install it but after installation the system cannot boot up. It has some problems with some kind of IONetworking or so...

 

You would help me a lot with some explanation!

hey guys !!!! i know im a bit too late to post thing at here ... but i really need your help on my mainboard. i got a [Asrock G31M-S R2.]0 mainboard and im very interested on how to boot a snow leopard mac os on my computer and most of the guide will need a modified bios. so can i ask you please help me to modified my bios.

 

i had :

intel core 2 duo E4500 2.24 GHz

nvidia geforce gt 220

2gb ddr2 ram

160gb hdd

mouse and keyboard usb

There is no need to modify the BIOS. The above procedure was needed in the days when Chameleon (a boot loader) was not yet capable to load DSDT.aml (or other ACPI tables), hence a patched BIOS (with altered DSDT table) was needed. Most (if not all) modern boot loaders for OS X can load ACPI tables. So, extract DSDT table in Linux/Windows, patch it and add the patched DSDT.aml to /Extra (if Chameleon is used) folder.
