Hi!

I finally got my hands on the eeeLeopard v3.1 distro from this thread about installing leopard on an eee 701. I have a working tiger install on an external HDD and want to install leopard directly on the SSD.

however, I have no clue how to get things going with the dmg file as there's no readme or anything else supplied with it. it only contains 4 folders that look like a osx root structure. can anybody help me and give me a hint?

cheers!

ok, I made some progress: you have to erase the destination partition before you can put the DMG backup on it via disktool.

however, now a new problem arises: the disk is not bootable! :(:P all I see after startup is a blinking cursor.

I tried reinstalling via CCC and tried chameleon as well, no success. how can I get my leo partition bootable?

I have a working tiger install available on an external usb hdd.
