When I try to boot from usb (using these method: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=183751), i get kernel panic: Panic(cpu 1 caller 0x2a6ac2) : Kernel trap at 0x47e66fcd, type 14=page fault, registers: <Some HEX code here> Error code: 0x00000000 .... Kernel Extensions in backtrace: com.apple.iokit.IOATAfamily What should I do? xopher Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 I had KP's during installation from my USB-stick as well. I believr it was caused by corruption of some sort. Reformatting, reinstalling the bootloader and then restoring the SL dmg/dvd onto the drive fixed it.
