Grizzly Adams
The title says it all. I have tried to download Safari 4, Firefox, and a few other things and right as it finishes downloading I get the "Please Restart Your Computer" message. Anyone help me out? vilpostus
To my mind, the problem is a kernel related. Try using a different kernel e.g. AnV, stageXNU... If the problem is solved, replace the System.kext in /System/Library/Extensions to the one that comes together with the new kernel (to solve possible USB detection problem). Grizzly Adams
I forgot to mention that I downloaded Firefox on my windows machine and copied it over via thumb drive and it installed fine. Anything I download from either firefox or safari causes a kernel panic. I am currently using the iPC 10.5.6 modbin kernel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184979-kernel-panic-as-downloads-finish/#findComment-1257711 Share on other sites
