Archaeanimus
I have a desktop on which I've tried installing iAtkos v1 and now v7; both installs worked flawlessly but won't boot. I've tried using the bootloaders (Darwin, Chameleon, etc.) that came with the install disk, but to no avail. My computer's specs are as follows: 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 processor FIC P4-865PE Series motherboard 1536 MB RAM 40 GB Western Digital hdd (it's an IDE drive) HP DVD Writer 1140d Radeon X1650 Series video card Realtek AC'97 Audio sound card (This is all according to Belarc Advisor) When I try to boot the computer, it gets to the screen that shows all of the hardware, bus numbers, etc., and then stops. No loading, no "please wait", nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get it to boot? Also, if anyone has experienced problems with the audio, video, etc. hardware listed above, I'd appreciate knowing about it beforehand. Edit: My BIOS is Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 12/23/2003 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184556-can-install-but-cant-boot/ Share on other sites
