topcathk
I am using a China made BTU netbook to install MacOSX. I have tried several methods (Kalaway, Boot132, osx86.iso) and they all seem to hang at the "Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers ". I am now using ideneb install using 10.5.7 which actually installs leopoard but when it reboots, the screen goes from OSX logo to blue and then blank. I have been stuck at this for a couple of days now ! Would would appreciate if anyone can guide me on how to fix/patch ideneb or if anyone can provide any other suggestions. topcathk
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=138881 Found via forum search... Thanks but I am abit of a NOOB at this. I am not sure quite what to look for ? I have been searching forums to see if I can repair KEXTS or can I add patches to the install. Leopard 10.5.7 is installed but the startup screen wont boot up. I can perhaps get in via terminal from the iDeneb install disk....if only I knew what to do ? vilpostus
Sorry, there is no other way than reading posts and searching Google. This is much more complicated thing than installing Windows. Unfortunately some prior IT knowledge is needed...
