tkm795
hello all, longtime reader but new poster here. I've been trying to install snow leopard on my pc ( MSI X58 Pro, Core i7 920, 3GB Corsair ram, 1tb Seagate +80Gb Seagate + 400Gb Seagate.) following HOW-TO GUIDE: Snow Leopard Retail 10.6 on Asus P6T Deluxe V2 this guide. I've followed all the instructions except for the ones specific to that motherboard, but every time I try to boot the Snow Leopard Partition, I get to the screen with Loading Darwin and Loading HFS+ ..... and get an error that says "Can't find custom". I've googled and binged it, but can't find anything. Has anyone ever seen this before?
protocol6v
I get the same error on my Supermicro X6DAE. I don't know what "Can't find custom" means. This system boots and works great on 10.5.7, with all versions of Chameleon. With snow leopard though, it comes up with this error no matter the version. I've even tried RC3
