coolmaster912
Hey, I've decided I want to play around with the iphone sdk a bit, but I do not own a mac...which is a problem. I have a 500gb usb hard drive and i was wondering if it is yet possible to have osx86 leopard live on a usb drive. I know this is possible with osx tiger, but is there a way to accomplish this with leopard? I've tried virtualizing osx86 in the past, but it just ran much too slowly. So I would really like to run osx without partitioning my laptop's hdd, because it hasn't worked successfully for me in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated. vilpostus
It is possible. In fact the first OS X I've installed was on USB HDD. To OS X it is not very important where to install to - it is more important how to install. Though there is nothing special about installation to USB. The same as to an internal disk.
