kaykun
I was unable to get AirPort working so far on my Toshiba Satellite U300 so I went and jacked in a Belkin USB wi-fi stick. For some reason, Bonjour fails to work and I everything I've tried by Googling so far hasn't yielded any results. iTunes fails to see my iPod touch when I try to set up Remote with it and Things Mac doesn't see my iPod when it's open in Things Touch. I am connected to the same network and I'm able to access other computers in my home on the network when I run Bonjour Browser, but it fails to make a connection with external devices. I've reset the router numerous times and that hasn't done anything either. I'm using ZD1211MacUSB 4.5.7.0 to connect to the web with my USB stick and the iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 distro that is updated to 10.5.8 via the Combo Update. Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to get syncing with Things going as soon as I can if it's possible. You may want to try the ifconfig in this thread setting the nic with the command listed in there and see if it will do the trick. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181133 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184241-bonjour-networking-not-working-with-usb-wi-fi-stick/#findComment-1252567 Share on other sites
